Background and Purpose: Traditional and Complementary Medicine (TCM) has increasingly been integrated into healthcare systems worldwide, particularly in women’s health. Obstetrics and gynecology represent important clinical fields in which TCM approaches such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, and integrative therapies have gained growing attention. The present study aimed to conduct a scientometric analysis of global scientific publications related to obstetrics and gynecology with a TCM approach. Materials and Methods: This descriptive scientometric study retrieved all relevant publications indexed in the Web of Science database from inception to the end of 2022. A total of 718 documents were identified. After screening and refinement, data were analyzed using VOSviewer, Microsoft Excel, and EndNote. Indicators examined included annual publication trends, citation analysis, prolific authors, leading countries and organizations, core journals, co-authorship networks, collaboration coefficients, and keyword co-occurrence mapping. Results: The findings revealed a fluctuating but overall increasing publication trend, particularly since 2014, when the highest number of documents (n=34) was recorded. The United States ranked first in both the number of publications (n=129) and total citations (n=3230) and demonstrated the strongest international collaboration network. Menopause: The Journal of the North American Menopause Society was the leading journal in productivity and citation impact. The University of Technology Sydney was identified as the most prolific organization. “Menopause” was the most frequently occurring keyword (63 occurrences) and had the highest total link strength. Scientific collaboration increased over time, reaching a collaboration coefficient of 0.7856 in 2022. Conclusion: Research interest in applying TCM to obstetrics and gynecology has steadily expanded, with particular emphasis on menopause, fertility, and pregnancy. Strengthening interdisciplinary and international collaborations may enhance the quality, visibility, and impact of future research in this field.
