In fact, archives are very important tools for information retrival. Furthermore history of medicine has some gaps in current research. The main purpose of this study is to explain and make clear theoretical frameworks of oral archive of history of medicine in iran. For this purpose we use descriptive survey as research method. We show solution such as collection building, classification and preservation of archival material to establish an oral archive of history of medicine how create an informatic tools to access and retrieve information for scientific research.
