fa بارهنگ Barhang تخصصي Special مروري Review Article <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">بارهنگ گیاهی از تیره‌ی بارهنگ می‌باشد که در طب سنّتی با نام‌های گوناگونی نظیر لسان‌‌الحمل، بارتنگ و خرگوشک معرفی شده ‌است. دو نوع از این گیاه تحت نام‌های کبیر و صغیر در کتب سنّتی ایران توضیح داده شده ‌است. در این مقاله، سعی شده ‌است تا نام‌های علمی این دو نوع بارهنگ با توجه به مشخصاتی که در منابع سنّتی برای آن‌ها ذکر شده بود، تعیین گردد و نام‌های فارسی مناسبی برای این دو گونه پیشنهاد شود. نتیجه این‌که، مشخصات دو نوع بارهنگ مطرح شده در طب سنّتی ایران به‌طور کامل با دو گونه‌ی <em>Plantago</em> مطابقت دارد، به‌طوری‌که نوع کبیر مترادف <em>P. major</em> و نوع صغیر مترادف <em>P. lanceolata</em> می‌باشد. نام‌های پیشنهادی برای این دو گونه عبارتند از: «بارهنگ کبیر» برای <em>P. major</em> و «بارهنگ سرنیزه‌ای» برای <em>P. lanceolata.</em></span></span> <table border="0" cellpadding="5px" cellspacing="2" dir="ltr" id="table_article" width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> <td colspan="2"> <p>“Barhang”, a genus from the family of Plantaginaceae, has been identified in Iranian traditional medicine with different names such as “Lessan-al-hamal”, “Bartang”, and “Khargooshak”. Two kinds of this plant, major and minor, has been considered in the Iranian traditional manuscripts. In this paper, we tried to determine the scientific names of these two species, according to their characteristics mentioned in the Iranian traditional manuscripts and also propose appropriate Persian names for these scientific names. It was concluded that the characteristics of the two species of “Barhang” in the traditional medicine are completely matched with the two species of Plantago “major” with P. major and “minor” with P. lanceolata.
