other دندان و درمان دندان‌درد در طب مردمی ایران تخصصي Special اصيل پژوهشي(تاريخ پزشكي) Original R.(History of medicine) <div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="direction:rtl"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span lang="FA"><span style="color:black">پژوهش حاضر با عنوان &laquo;دندان و درمان دندان‌درد در طب مردمی ایران&raquo; به بررسی باورها، روش‌های درمانی و آیین‌های مرتبط با دندان و درد آن در فرهنگ عامۀ ایران پرداخته‌ است. هدف تحقیق، شناسایی کارکردهای جسمانی، نمادین و آیینی درمان‌های دندانی در طب مردمی و تحلیل پیوند میان تجربۀ زیستۀ درد و تفسیر فرهنگی آن می‌باشد. روش پژوهش، توصیفی‌ـ‌تحلیلی است و داده‌های پژوهش به‌صورت کتابخانه‌ای گردآوری ‌شده و در قالب چهار محور سازمان یافته‌اند: ۱) درمان‌های دارویی شامل مواد افیونی، گیاهی، حیوانی و معدنی؛ ۲) کاربرد عناصر فراطبیعی در تسکین یا پیشگیری از درد؛ ۳) باورهای عامیانه دربارۀ رویش دندان نوزادان؛ ۴) آیین‌ها و خوراک‌های نمادین مرتبط با سلامت دندان. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که در طب مردمی ایران، درمان دندان‌درد صرفاً فرآیندی جسمانی نیست، بلکه در بستر گسترده‌ای از مفاهیم آیینی و نمادین معنا می‌یابد. کارکردهای دارویی (مانند خاصیت ضدالتهابی گیاهان، یا تسکین موضعی تریاک و پیه) در کنار مکانیسم‌های جادویی (طلسم‌ها و اعمال نمادین)، تصویری از نظام شفابخشی جامع و چندوجهی در فرهنگ ایرانی ارائه می‌دهد. ترکیب عقل تجربی با باورهای آیینی و جادویی، بازتابی از نظام اندیشۀ سنتی ایرانیان در پیوند با سلامت و بدن است.</span></span></span></span></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height:2;"><span lang="EN">The present study, titled &ldquo;Tooth and the Treatment of Toothache in Iranian Folk Medicine,&rdquo; examines the beliefs, therapeutic methods, and rituals associated with the tooth and toothache in Iranian folk culture. The aim of the study is to identify the physical, symbolic, and ritual functions of dental remedies in folk medicine and to analyze the connection between the lived experience of pain and its cultural interpretation. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical method, and its data have been collected through library research and organized into four main categories: 1) medicinal treatments, including opioid, herbal, animal, and mineral substances; 2) the use of supernatural elements in relieving or preventing pain; 3) folk beliefs concerning the eruption of infants&rsquo; teeth; and 4) rituals and symbolic foods related to dental health. The findings show that, in Iranian folk medicine, the treatment of toothache is not merely a physical process; rather, it acquires meaning within a broader framework of ritual and symbolic concepts. Medicinal functions, such as the anti-inflammatory properties of herbs or the topical soothing effects of opium and fat, alongside magical mechanisms such as amulets and symbolic acts, present an image of a comprehensive and multifaceted healing system in Iranian culture.
