fa اُسطوخودوس تخصصي Special مروري Review Article <p style="font-style:normal;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>سابقه و هدف:</strong> اسطوخودوس گیاهی دارویی است که پیشینۀ طولانی مصرف در طب ایرانی دارد. بیشترین کاربرد آن در رابطه با بیماری‌های مربوط به مغز و اعصاب بوده است و از آن به‌عنوان &laquo;جاروب دماغ&raquo; یاد شده است. در خصوص مشخصات گیاه‌‌شناسی، مطالب متعددی در منابع طب ایرانی بیان شده است که نشان می‌دهد گیاهان مختلفی در قرون مختلف به عنوان اسطوخودوس استفاده شده‌اند.<br> <strong>&nbsp;مواد و روش‌ها:</strong> در این مقاله سه گونه منتسب به اسطوخودوس از خانوادۀ <span dir="LTR">Lamiaceae</span><strong>،</strong> شامل <span dir="LTR">L.</span> <em><span dir="LTR">Lavandula stoechas</span></em>, <em><span dir="LTR">.</span></em><span font-size:="" new="" time="">Mill</span><em><span dir="LTR">&nbsp;</span></em><span dir="LTR">&nbsp;</span><em><span dir="LTR"><span new="" time="">Lavandula angustifolia</span></span></em>&nbsp;و&nbsp;<em><span dir="LTR">&nbsp;</span></em><span font-size:="" new="" time="">.Boi</span>s<span font-size:="" new="" time="">s</span><em><span dir="LTR"><span new="" time="">Nepeta menthoides&nbsp;</span></span></em>&nbsp; <span b="" font-size:="">بررسی‌&nbsp;</span>شد و گیاه‌‌شناسی آن‌ها با موارد بیان شده در منابع طب ایرانی در خصوص ماهیت اسطوخودوس، مقایسه شد.<br> <strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> با توجه به بررسی‌های انجام شده و شرح مذکور در منابع طب ایرانی، می‌توان اسطوخودوس را معادل <em><span dir="LTR">Lavandula stoechas</span></em> دانست. قابل ذکر است که از اواسط قرن بیستم، گیاه <em><span dir="LTR">Nepeta menthoides</span></em>، در بازار دارویی ایران به‌عنوان اسطوخودوس معرفی و جایگزین اسطوخودوس رومی شده است.<br> <strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> نتایج این کار می‌تواند راهگشای محققین گیاهان دارویی جهت کار روی هر یک از گونه‌های مذکور باشد.</span></span></p> <span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>Background and Purpose</strong>: Lavender is a medicinal plant that has a long history of consumption in Persian medicine. The most prominent medicinal use has been for neurological disorders in a way that it has been called &quot;the brain scavenger&quot;. There are different opinions about its botanical description in Persian medicine sources that implied to the use of various plants as lavender in different ages.<br> <strong>Methods and Materials:</strong> In this paper, three species belonging to the Lamiaceae family including <em>Lavandula stoechas L, Lavandula angustifolia </em>Mill., and <em>Nepeta menthoides</em> Boiss. were investigated and their botanical descriptions were compared with what has said about the identity of lavender in Persian medicine literature.<br> <strong>Results: </strong>The investigations revealed that the definition of Lavender (Ustukhuddus) in Persian medicine mainly corresponds to the characteristics of <em>Lavandula stoechas</em>.
