Just after the book was written, its value was perceived throughout the realm of the Islamic world, and many other medical texts of the Islamic period were influenced and affected by its significance. Later, sages completely accepted its contents, and referred to the Avicenna’s manuscripts as the last word of medical science. In fact, the book became a standard scale for qualification assessment of medical skills, and various individuals in different periods tried to interpret its contents. In fact, if Avicenna had no books other than the Canon, it was enough for representing his perfect knowledge.
