Materials and Methods: This study was carried out in the namarestagh summer rangelands of Amol. Finally, plants of the region, were collected by relief of local experts, and local name, information , traditional and local usage of plants were obtained and recorded by face to face interviewing with indigenous people. Results: The results showed that 119 species have been identified in the region of 74 plant species belonging to 34 families have medicinal use. Asteraceae with 12 species (16.21%), Lamiaceae with 10 species (13.51%), Rosaceae with 7 species (9.54 %) had the largest share. Conclusions: 111 medicinal uses for the plants listed, Treatment of anemia (11.71%), astringent (10.81%), anti-flatulence, laxative and fever (9.09%), low blood sugar, cough and colds (8.1%) and hypotension (6.3 %) of the most used by the people listed.
