The Kerman province has different types of climatic conditions. As a consequence you can find a great variety of plant species here.

We studied existing medical plants in traditional drug stores by scientific, Persian and local names, used parts, medical effects and growth location.

170 medical plant samples were identified and collected from herb sellers in Kerman but most of this species belong to Labiateae, Umbllifure and Compositae, and fruits and flowers are the most widely used parts.
